Ageing is an extraordinary process for becoming the person you should have been. David Bowie.

The benefits of facial oils.

These gorgeous oils protect the skin against the elements and can be more effective in deep hydration than many lotions and creams.

Some oils are ideal for treating dry skin, some have anti-inflammatory properties, and others are great for healing and repair.

Marula oil – Ideal for protecting, plumping, toning and erasing fine lines and wrinkles.

Argan oil - Excellent for moisturising, softening and plumping the skin.

Squalane oil - This is excellent for plumping and improving skin elasticity.

Oils with retinol – These are renowned for firming and smoothing skin.

Rosehip seed oil – This seed oil is effective for skin regeneration and repair.

Nourishment for your skin.

A whole raft of information regarding healthy or unhealthy fats and oils in our diets is available on the web. When used in our food, coconut, olive, avocado, and other oils have many nutritional benefits. Facial oils can provide nutrition and hydration when applied topically to our skin.

Antioxidant-rich Marula & Apricot Kernel oils: Marula seed oils hydrate while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Marula facial oil is light and excellent for softening and conditioning mature skin. This luxurious, botanical-infused formula delivers intense moisture to keep dry and mature skin supple and dewy.

Facial Oils can promote a healthy glow. Your skin can appear dull and dry as you age—this is common because your skin produces fewer natural oils over time. When you allow your skin to become dehydrated by not moisturising or drinking enough water, your skin will look dull. Lack of sleep also contributes to poor skin tone. Whatever the cause of a dry or dull complexion, oils can help restore moisture and encourage glowing skin.

A few drops of facial oil gently massaging the face and neck can give you a glowing effect immediately.

Easier to apply foundation. Facial oils are a fantastic skincare product for all skin types and are ideal to use before you apply foundation. Applying makeup with a seamless finish can be difficult if your skin is dry or flaky.

Beauty tip: Add a few drops of light Marula oil to your favourite foundation for a slightly more sheer and glow-boosting formula.

Skin protection. When applied as part of your regular skincare routine, facial oils can act as a barrier for the outer layer - the dermis.
